چکیده
Abstract Background This study aimed to assess the effects of different concentrations silicon (Si) nutrient sources, including bulk dioxide (bSiO 2 ) and two types silica nanoparticles, nSiO (I) (II) at 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 ppm in germination process stevia. The priming experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design with three replicates ensure reliability results. Results All stevia seedlings subjected nano-priming significantly improved parameters. percentage increased by 106%, reaching 68% nano-primed seedlings. Similarly, rate showed remarkable increase 128.12% 7.3 day −1 . Additionally, root, shoot, seedling dry weight 283%, 168.9%, 220% determined 0.092, 0.078, 0.17 g plant , respectively, compared control. Furthermore, seed concentration 10 resulted an catalase (CAT) activity (36.15 Umg protein) peroxidase (POX) (approximately 0.057 U.mg protein). Also, highest sucrose amount observed root (equal 160.4 μg DW) shoot 247 primed (I). However, it should be noted that led oxidative damage indicated H O concentration. Conversely, bSiO demonstrated lesser effect on improving germination, growth, antioxidant activities, biochemical attributes (I), (II). Conclusions established most effective enhancing rate, root/shoot/dry weight, attributes, enzyme activities (such as α-amylase, CAT, POX). results suggested optimal could improve system, starch metabolism, ultimately protecting plants from damage. Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni - chemical composition and functional properties.
Sweetleaf (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni), currently investigated by many researchers, has been known and used for more than a thousand years indigenous tribes of South America, who called it "kaa-hee" ("sweet herb"). Thanks to its chemical composition and processability sweetleaf may be an alternative for synthetic sweeteners. Nutritional and health-promoting aspects of Stevia rebaudiana are prese...

Meta-analysis of seed priming effects on seed germination, seedling emergence and crop yield: Iranian studies
A large body of research has documented the effect of seed priming ongermination, emergence and crop yield. In such research, seed priming has beenfound to have a positive, negative or no effect. Meta-analysis can help tosummarize and interpret a collection of experiments. The aim of this study was toconduct a meta-analysis to synthesize published data from studies addressing theeffect of seed ...
